Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Remodeling Carpenter to join our construction and renovation team in 2026. The ideal candidate will have experience in residential remodeling with strong carpentry skills and the ability to perform a wide range of tasks including framing, drywall, trim work, cabinetry, painting and minor electrical and plumbing tasks. Tiling experience is a plus. This role requires problem-solving ability, a commitment to quality craftsmanship, and excellent customer service skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform all aspects of remodeling projects including demolition, framing, installation, and finish carpentry.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
• Install doors, windows, cabinetry, trim, flooring, and other building components.
• Repair structural framing, drywall, and other elements as needed.
• Measure, cut, and assemble wood and other materials to build or repair structures.
• Ensure work is completed according to code, design specifications, and safety standards.
• Communicate clearly with clients, team members, and supervisors to ensure job satisfaction.
• Maintain tools and workspaces in clean and safe condition.
• Collaborate with electricians, plumbers, and other trades as required on job sites.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in remodeling or general carpentry.
• Proficient with power tools, hand tools, and construction techniques.
• Strong understanding of building codes and safety regulations.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and blueprints.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in various physical environments (indoors/outdoors, heights, crawlspaces, etc.).

Preferred Skills

• Experience with kitchen and bathroom remodeling.
• Cabinet installation or custom carpentry experience.
• Basic plumbing and electrical knowledge.
• OSHA 10 or 30 certification is a plus.
